I picked up my SFAR 16" about a 6 weeks ago. First range trip I had some new LAX .308, some surplus South African 7.62, some surplus Brazilian 7.62, some brand new Winchester M118LRW, and some wolf military classic .308 Soft Point 168gr. The gun would not reliably feed any of the 7.62 ammo on any gas setting.The new Ruger SFAR is an honest to God AR-15-size rifle chambered in .308 Winchester which Ruger has the audacity to offer at a price a blue collar working man can actually afford.
